In the spring of 2019 the Deep Cove Community Association (DCCA) was rekindled by a group of local caring volunteers. With a sense of community pride our aim is to cultivate community connections through local initiatives, celebrations, events, and information sharing.

Our Mission

Deep Cove Community Association aims to be the central hub for fostering community spirit, engagement and pride, while reflecting the values of UNITY, CONNECTIVITY, INCLUSIVITY, SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH, SAFETY, RESPONSIBILITY, and ACCESSIBILITY. 

DCCA GOALS:

• Providing a means for community members to be regularly informed about happenings in Deep Cove, the District and City of North Vancouver 

• Presenting a strong unified voice to the District (and City) of North Vancouver 

• Supporting the local economy which provides community members with amenities 

• Promoting genuinely sustainable living

• Providing resources, programming

• Facilitating sponsorships between DCCA and local businesses

• Engaging and consulting with our community concerning various issues and developments 

• Promoting improved environmental standards and activities

• Promoting barrier free access in public areas

• Connecting community members to the local resources available

• Maintaining a neutral political stance
