Community Discussion
Mt Seymour Resorts has put forward a Ski Resort Development Plan proposal, and it is currently going through the public consultation stage. A survey is being conducted and coordinated by Citizens’ Services (CITZ) to gather comments, feedback and questions on behalf of the Province. Considering how important the Mt Seymour area is to the community at large, we would benefit from hearing from as many respondents as possible. Seymour Art Gallery: Summer Art Camp for Pre-Teens. July 6 – 10, 2026 | 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. each day. Ages 9+ | $200 per child plus tax.
Deep Cove Coffee House concert on Friday June 19 featuring two National Treasures, Bill Coon and Miles Black, in the opening feature set. The closing feature set will include Bill Coon and the lovely and talented vocalist Laura Crema. (Doors open at 7p.m.; tickets: $20 cash only at the door).
Deep Cove Stage Society at Deep Cove Shaw theater, June 5-19 (Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat @ 7:30 pm): “The Roommate”, dark comedy about what it takes to re-route your life – and what happens when the wheels come off.
